I was delighted that you chose to highlight JHR Hampson’s letter on what he aptly calls “the global warming bandwagon”.

What is now needed to further restore my faith in CIBSE is an article debunking wind farms, those monumental absurdities that are blighting increasing areas of the British countryside.

I can understand that if you have a farmhouse on the Falklands Isles, a wind turbine might make sense. But as a means of bulk power generation, particularly in this country, surely it is something that could only be promoted by ill-informed politicians anxious to appease the green lobby?
