The virtues of the therapy were first extolled to me by one Max Steinberg OBE, former Housing Corporation director, now of Elevate East Lancashire.

I remember vividly our conversation about what a pain in the backside regulation was becoming. Max explained: “It’s just like colonic irrigation, Tom. Painful at the time but you feel better afterwards.”
