The Hidden Truth




Shepherd Engineering Services has produced a CD-Rom explaining how the company has been using key performance indicators to improve its performance.

The Hidden Truth looks at a number of the company's projects and covers subjects including project predictability in terms of design, construction cost and time, as well as site productivity, safety, defects, training, client satisfaction and supply chain management.

One of the projects covered is the Pfizer headquarters, currently under construction, which incorporates a 135 m prefabricated services trench housing the fire mains, domestics and both chilled and heated water. This is claimed to have given considerable time savings to the on-site installation programme.
