    HiSec International – PROVIDER of 'smart' products that integrate data networks with intelligent access, intrusion and video modules – has developed ThorGuard IP, a suite of interface products designed for security applications on the network.

    Manufactured to satisfy the high security demands of major European banks, the ThorGuard IP unit interfaces TCP/IP to the network system bus. This is now possible with a nominal network load of as little as 0.1% of the bandwidth on a 10 Mbit network.

    During client-to-server connections for database interrogation, the network load is still typically just 1% of the bandwidth of such a network.
