And this year's winner is... GlaxoSmithKline
GlaxoSmithKline has completed a new hvac training facility dedicated to training staff in the intricacies of hvac technology when used in a pharmaceutical environment. The basis of the facility is a full-size hvac system with all the components that would be found in a real operation – outside chiller unit, desiccant dehumidifier wheel and steam humidification. The main element of training is a five day general course dealing with major aspects of hvac systems such as basic thermodynamic principles, water flow balance, fans, air filtration. Specialist courses are also being drawn up.
