Tremco employees around the world have had their Tsunami appeal money doubled by the company. Also part of the fund raising campaign was Nullifier, a specialist in fire protection products based in Coventry and a subsidiary of Tremco.

Even though the company’s 240 employees had already made generous contributions to other appeals set up after the disaster, they were happy to dig into their pockets again and came up with another £2,625, which Tremco promptly doubled to £5,250. This followed a pledge by Executive Vice President, John Newens, that the company would match, pound for pound, all contributions made by employees, ‘I am overwhelmed by their generosity’ he commented.

Equally delighted was Annie Burton, Community Fund Raising Manager for the British Red Cross in Berkshire, beneficiary of the £5250. Tremco presented the cheque to Anne on 25th January at its European headquarters in Slough.
