Project management firm Trench Farrow is working on a slew of new office schemes in the centre of London

The firm is overseeing the £35m fit-out of a new block in Southwark, South London, just below the Tate Modern, for publishing firm IPC.

A contractor is imminently due to be picked for the scheme. Bovis Lend Lease, who is currently building the shell of the building, and ISG InteriorExterior are understood to be bidding for the work.

The QS on the scheme is Gardiner & Theobald.

Trench Farrow is also working on a new £35m office for the Corporation of London, next to its present premises in the City. Bovis Lend Lease and ISG InteriorExterior are also believed to be bidding for the scheme, designed by architect TP Bennett, as well as Galliford Try.

Other schemes on the firm’s books include: a fit-out of the Adelaide House building in London Bridge for lawyer Berwin Leighton Paisner; overseeing new premises for accountant Deloitte at the New Street Square development near Fleet Street; and a fit-out of the EMI office in Hammersmith, West London.

Trench Farrow was also recently retained on the framework of project managers for client Morley Fund Management. The firm is monitoring three office schemes in London and an industrial job in Leicester for Morley.

The 20-strong firm has been involved with some of the most high-profile schemes in recent history, such as the British Library and the Millennium Dome.

The firm’s founder David Trench recently left his role as project manager of the redevelopment of Ascot racecourse, a scheme he had been working on since 2001. Trench was replaced by Howard Shipley, whose work includes the new Hong Kong Airport.

  • ISG InteriorExterior is believed to have won a £20m contract to build a new City Academy in Greenwich, south-east London, called the St Paul’s Academy.

The QS on the scheme is Davis Langdon.
