A former lorry park that is being converted into a £30m, 200-home development has been shortlisted for a Building Quality Homes Award.

The environment-friendly scheme in Southampton, which is halfway through construction, is being built by Persimmon Homes. The 64 units of social housing will be split between Swaythling Housing Society and Hyde Housing Association. The Building Quality Homes award is run by Housing Today’s sister magazine Building.
