Turnkey packages are a growing feature of the £1.25 billion hvac market according to AMA Research.
In its publication Ventilation, air conditioning and non-domestic heating market report, AMA says: ‘Turnkey packages including design installation, maintenance and remote wiring are a growing feature of the hvac sector and are forecast to expand even further reflecting trends in integrated building management systems’.
AMA claims that high levels of government spending, PFI funded health and education projects and housing maintenance schemes have led to sustained growth in the hvac market in the short term.
The report states that air conditioning is the biggest sector of the hvac market with a 41% share. The sector is worth £520 million, of which £300 million was packaged air conditioning products.
Housebuilding and new thermal efficiency legislation will help the market remain buoyant. However, the growth in mobile and long term hvac plant-hire ‘may limit the market in the long term,’ AMA warn.
