Ultraframe has previewed Litespace, a bay style extension with a glazed roof that shows broad appeal with homeowners
Ultraframe has previewed its innovative new Litespace product at the Ideal Home Show in London's Olympia. Litespace is a bay style extension with a glazed roof that gives direct access to the garden to add space and flood a room with light.

The patented Litespace product is a 2.1 x 1.1m, three facet (110 degree facets) walk-in bay window which is glazed to the ground and features high performance Conservaglass Optimum sealed units. White and woodgrain finishes will be available.

Described as quick and simple to install, Litespace will be sold as a complete package comprising the roof, sideframes, doors, all glazing and the preformed insulated base. Litespace is ideally suited for up to a 1.8m opening.

Litespace is expected to create new business opportunities for installers in several markets, including homeowners replacing patio doors, and with those who do not have the space or budget for a conservatory. In fact, the company's research shows that many homeowners would take a Litespace and a conservatory.

'We are absolutely delighted with Litespace. It provides the industry with a brand new business opportunity,' says Helen Fothergill, Marketing Director of Ultraframe. Litespace was previewed at the show as part of the Ideal Home Magazine room set. Helen adds: 'It was a great opportunity to show the product in situ. Consumers and installers could experience the visual and practical benefits of Litespace at the most reputable home show in the country.'

n Litespace will be promoted direct to consumers through the Essential Guide and a new website, www.litespace.co.uk, with support in the consumer press.
