    In the heart of the city known as the home of Association football, one of the oldest sporting arenas in the country is benefiting from a state-of-the-art, £50,000 CCTV surveillance system.

    Installed by CCTV specialist Quadrant Video Systems, the high resolution colour camera set-up has been designed to monitor crowds both inside and around Sheffield United’s famous 31,000-seater stadium at Bramall Lane.

    Using a Synectics Tesseract ST32x8 video matrix and three keyboards, the upgraded Stadium Control Room is being used in conjunction with an integrated safety and security scheme to ensure crowd safety at all times.
