Up in the air

Drivers visiting the Edinburgh International Conference site will soon be able to get a 'robot' to park their cars for them.

Architect Hurd Rolland has designed the 'sky parks' system for the site, part of which allows cars to be stacked vertically.

Trials of the computer-controlled hydraulic lifting system are underway.
