This installation in Brisbane, Australia is designed not only to enhance the streetscape but improve the natural ventilation of a 30-year-old multi-storey car park

Completed by Urban Art Projects, it is claimed to have saved the client more than £1 million by avoiding mechanical ventilation. The aluminium installation consists of 549 powder-coated, laser-cut 1.2m x 3.6m panels, which wrap around three sides of the building. Called Landlines, it was designed by artist Jennifer Marchant to echo the local landscape. UAP is also working on Breakwater Beacon, a 60m “lighthouse” for the King Abdullah University for Science and Technology in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
