Surveyor dome cameras supplied by Vicon Industries have been installed at a major new London office development.
Located in the heart of the City, 33 Holborn Place spreads over ten floors – eight of which are being used for open-plan office space – and plays host to an auditorium and lecture theatre, together with a gymnasium and restaurant.
Installed by ADT, the Vicon cameras are located in heritage-style housings so that the 1930s period 'feel' of the area is retained. Each Surveyor dome makes use of a proprietary software driver that delivers smooth and silent operation through a range of speeds – from 0.25º per second to 300º per second.
The units have self-learn tours which not only simplify programming, but also allow for in-sequence editing and reverse touring.
