Young people got the chance to fire questions at the three main political parties in Swindon last month. The event, organised by the Swindon Foyer, was called “Why Vote?” and aimed to encourage active citizenship among the foyer’s young residents and to find out how they engage with the issues that affect them. The party representatives were Sue Stebbing from the Liberal Democrats (left, talking to a resident), Conservative Robert Buckland and Anne Snelgrove of Labour.
