Paul Shewbridge, chairman of the Essex Security and Fire Protection Association, has undertaken a 100km trek in a worthy cause – to raise funds for the Macmillan Cancer Relief Essex Appeal.
Paul stepped out in honour of Robert Sheffle, a friend and well-known figure in the security industry who tragically lost his battle with cancer at the age of 50. Mr Shewbridge's efforts raised a total of £5,200.

Capital Q High Security Services, based in Hornchurch, sponsored the intrepid walker to the tune of £250. Managing Director Jeff Daniells commented: "Bob was a popular member and former Chairman of the Association, and Capital Q is pleased to support Paul and the charity in his memory."
