THE NASDAQ-QUOTED INTERNET security solutions expert WatchGuard Technologies has signed a deal with Ingram Micro UK – the global wholesale provider of technology products and services – to distribute its plug-and-play Firebox and SOHO firewall/VPN appliances in the UK.
The deal also gives UK customers access to WatchGuard's award-winning LiveSecurity service, which enables end users to keep their security systems up-to-date with information on threat responses, new software and vulnerability alerts.

Simon Webb, vice president of international sales for WatchGuard, told SMT: "Internet security products are becoming a 'must-have' for companies of all sizes."
