VSG is responsible for security and guarding for some of the UK’s leading blue chip companies, including Abbey, B&Q, Exel, the Volkswagen Group and TNT.

The company recently moved into a new, purpose-built headquarters on the Brackmills Industrial Estate in Northampton, and has specified digital surveillance and recording equipment from Bosch Security Systems to satisfy its own security requirements on site.

External Bosch EnviroDomes monitor the entire site. These cameras are interfaced with access control and Intercom systems to preset the domes to detailed views of the main entrances and vehicle entrance barriers.

Meantime, FlexiDomes are used for internal space monitoring throughout the building.

Images from all cameras are recorded on a 16-channel Divar digital recording system that allows instant playback. While staff use their own badges to gain automatic entry, visitors have to press an intercom button and request entry. Each visitor’s image is recorded.
