The Queen opened the Wellcome Trust’s new £100 million London headquarters in December.

The 10-storey building has been designed to be as environmentally sustainable as possible and incorporates features such as a ventilated facade and passive chilled ceilings. Architect on the scheme was Michael Hopkins & Partners; m&e consultants were Cundall Johnstone & Partners, while Hurley Palmer Flatt managed the IT and communications installation.
