The Welsh National Assembly's new building has won an excellent rating for sustainability from BREEAM (Building Research Environmental Assessment Method). The Richard Rogers-designed debating chamber features low-energy solutions and renewable technologies.

Northcroft was the scheme's QS, TPS was the project manager and Taylor Woodrow was the contractor.

Managing director of Taylor Woodrow, Tim Peach, said: "Our experiences at Cardiff demonstrate what can be achieved through working with an integrated team of client, contractor and designers, and provide us with considerable knowledge and experience to take to other projects."
