Wembley way: Detailed plans for the regeneration of the 42 ha site surrounding Wembley Stadium were submitted on Friday. Under the plans, drawn up by developer Quintain Estates, 3700 homes will be built, plus leisure facilities including a hotel and cinema. Quintain says the plan would generate 7000 jobs. Richard Rogers Partnership is the development’s architect. With Quintain, it consulted 3400 local residents over the proposals. The number of affordable houses has not yet been set.
