Network VEKA fabricators have earned their highest ever rating in a survey across the membership.

Every one of them scored at least four out of five in the latest of the organisation’s quarterly surveys – the first time this has happened since the poll was launched three years ago.

Network Veka Managing Director John Ogilvie said: ‘This is quite an achievement but even more so considering that, in our first survey in 2002, none scored higher than three.

‘It shows very clearly how the fabricators have been able to respond positively to the feedback from their customers by identifying weak points, then working to improve them.’

Each of nearly 100 installer members is regularly asked to appraise the 15-plus trade fabricators who supply them, across a number of parameters such as product quality, service, prompt delivery etc.

The survey is an essential part of Network Veka’s strict quality control regime, which also includes polling every single customer – some 16,000 every year – to evaluate the installers on similar parameters.

The results show that members collectively earn a 97% rating, as against a recognised industry average for all home improvements of less than 85%, it is claimed.
