Further to Alpesh Patel's article (The panel will see you now, QS News, 21 April), it appears that much of his quick guide relates to the work of a PQS and is of little, or no, consequence to a contractor's QS.

Where was the advice or curriculum for the latter group of QSs, many of whom, despite being professionally qualified, feel disenfranchised and unrepresented by RICS? I know because I have been there.
