Wheelie good: Southwark council in south London has smartened up its BMX bike track.

The track, at Bird in Bush Park, got a £60,000 improvement grant from Peckham Community Council, which is part of Southwark council. As well as improving the BMX track, the grant will fund new play equipment, an area for dogs and a “healing garden”.
