Mitcham-based Luxo Vega claims its latest task lamp AIR has a positive effect on health by allowing users to control the illumination of their own space. AIR is an asymmetric task luminaire with a versatile, parallel motion arm designed for use with a 12V, 35W halogen lamp. The asymmetric light throw reduces contrasts on the working plane, reducing eye strain and minimising glare. The lamp's shade, which comes in black or grey is made from epoxy powdered steel. The lamp has a spring balanced arm to make sure that its head is always parallel to the work surface.
