WHERE TORIES DARE: Conservative leader Iain Duncan Smith toured Hackney Community College in east London this week in a bid to rebrand his party as champion for the poor and disadvantaged. He called for all children in the UK to have the same educational opportunities regardless of their parents’ earnings. Tackling issues such as crime and drug problems on inner city estates was vital to improve the chances of young people who live on them, Duncan Smith said.
