White hot: Environ Sunley’s Lacuna development in West Mailing, Kent, was informally voted the best new housing scheme in the south-east of England by Bexley borough councillors and planning committee members. They were taken on a tour of four sites in total, and preferred Lacuna despite its having the highest density housing – between 58 and 62 homes per hectare.
