Career moves this month …
Whitbybird has made two directorial appointments. John Joyce has joined from Buro Happold to become director of the Manchester branch of the building services group, and Alan Munson has left Mitie Engineering Services to join the London office as director in charge of the London branch of the building services group.
Hurley Palmer Flatt has also made two additions to its workforce. James Rooke (1) has joined as associate director in the energy and sustainability division, and Mike Prager (2) has become group finance director.
NG Bailey has appointed three new divisional managing directors to lead Bailey, its largest subsidiary company. Steve Briggs will have responsibility for the firm’s London operations; Mike Darlington will head up the Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Wynyard and Newcastle branches; and Paul Cogan will be responsible for Scottish operations, Bailey Rail, Bailey Johnson and Bailey Off-Site.
Acoustic specialist Andrew Bullmore has become a partner at Hoare Lea.
SummitSkills, the Sector Skills Council for building services engineering has appointed Kat Wehrheim (3) as operations manager for the East Midlands and Mark Clayton (4) as assistant operations manager for Yorkshire and the Humber.
Four recent appointments have been made at Polypipe Sanitary Systems. Brian Watson has been appointed divisional managing director, Graham Fisher (5) has become sales director, Jilly Player-Bishop (6) is new business development director while Simon Peck became operations manager at Polypipe Sanitary Systems’ Doncaster site in 2006.
