Building services engineer Philip Kite (1) has joined consultant Gifford. His addition to the 30-engineer team is part of a continued expansion of key skills in the buildings sector. Kite will be based at Gifford’s new London office.
Halstead Boilers has strengthened its UK sales team with the addition of Keith Evans (2) as area sales manager for the West Midlands. He previously worked for Alpha Boilers and Chaffoteaux & Maury, part of the MTS Group.
MLM Environmental has appointed Bruce Jackson (3) as technical director. He will provide additional technical and management support with the aim of developing an environmental team at MLM’s Chelmsford office.
Sarah Wicks (4) is the new head of education and training at the HVCA. She joined as education and training officer in 2004 and now succeeds Tony Thomas, who becomes visiting professor in work-based learning at London South Bank University.
Adrian Farley (5) joins Watts Industries as regional sales engineer for south-east England. He previously spent 20 years working in a range of industry sectors including building services, utilities and drainage.
Christine Wright (6) has been appointed technical qualifications manager at BEST (Building Engineering Services Training). Wright joins from Shepherd Engineering Services where she was responsible for company-wide employee training.
Buro Happold has named Ian Booth as building services director for central Europe. Booth will be based in Warsaw, Poland, taking responsibility for the company’s growing portfolio of projects across the region.
