Simon Downs (1) has joined Halstead Boilers as marketing executive, delivering support for the company’s range of boilers and accessories, as well as its new Solartherm product range.
Buro Happold’s building services team in London has recently been bolstered by the appointment of group director Andy Keelin. He arrives from Ramboll Whitbybird.
James Hollingsworth (2) has been appointed head of brand marketing for the Vaillant Group. He will manage all UK communications for brands including Glow-worm, Saunier Duval and Vaillant.
Taylor Woodrow’s facilities management business has appointed Nick Shaw (3) as its new operations director.
Civil engineer Sandy Halliday will lead Buro Happold’s northern European infrastructure team. The team currently consists of four people and it will be boosted by the addition of another engineer in the near future.
Yianni Spanos (4) has been appointed to White Young Green’s building services team as an associate on energy and environment. He joins from Capita Symonds with experience in renewable energy, building physics and carbon management.
Hoare Lea announces that Andrew Morris (5) has accepted an invitation to become a partner in the firm. He joined the Bristol office in 1998 and was promoted to associate in 2001.
Richard Sykes (6), executive board director of Taylor Woodrow, is the new chairman of the Facilities Management Association. He succeeds Gareth Hollyman of Jones Lang LaSalle.
Gary Eckersley has been made UK managing director of Fulton Boiler Works (GB), following a four-year period during which the business was run from the company’s US headquarters. He joins after 15 years with process steam specialist Spirax Sarco.
