No disrespect is meant to the BSIA by the following statement, but they do not represent more than 70 per cent of this industry as is claimed and never will so long as they insist on all members being ISO 9000 accredited.
If we wish this industry to progress to maturity it must be in a clear and equitable manner for all within it.
May I suggest a dual BSIA membership to include those who have achieved the ability of gaining police recognition as well as ISO 9000:2000 by using perhaps a Gold for ISO accredited members and a Silver for others?
