The BSIA has announced a number of new appointments following its Annual General Meeting.
Adam Wiseberg of RemGuard Ltd will become the Association's new vice-chairman, replacing Tim Geddes (Yeoman Monitoring Services Ltd) whose term of office has now ended. Jim Harrower continues in the position of BSIA chairman for a further year.
New chairmen for BSIA sections of membership have also been elected. Derek Smith of Legion Security plc has become the new chairman of the Security Guarding Section, with Stuart Lowden of Wilson James Ltd becoming the vice-chairman, Michael Bystram of Integrated Design Ltd has become the new chairman of the Export Council, with Michael Parry of Remsdaq becoming the deputy chairman.
Chairmen and vice-chairmen continuing in their positions for one year will include: Access Control: Chairman, Phil Redcliffe (Bewator Ltd); vice chairman, John Sage (Gallagher Security Management Systems (Europe) Ltd). Physical Security Equipment: Chairman, Martin Williams (Computer Plant & Security Systems Ltd). Security Equipment Manufacturers: Chairman, Nick Sims (Risco Group UK Ltd); vice chairman, David Ripley (Cooper Security Ltd). Security Systems: Chairman, Steve Kimber (Southern Monitoring Services Ltd); vice-chairman, Kevin Allingham, (Initial Electronic Security Systems Ltd).
