WORKING FROM HOME: Decorator Trevor Saunders settles into his new shared-ownership flat in Newham, east London, which he helped to refurbish under a scheme run by Boleyn and Forest Housing Society. In the project, one of the society’s first self-build schemes, participants exchanged work for a 25% equity share in the property.
