George Tzilivakis' negotiation around the difficult neighbour issue ("Call my blush", 30 April, page 23) was interesting. I can add to the euphemism lexicon: I used to work with a housing officer who would address these issues by writing to her tenants about "the everyday sounds of living and loving".
