Security company ADT has won the contract to upgrade the fire detection and alarm system at London’s Tower 42.

The two-year project will see the firm install an MX4000 digital addressable system in place of the existing Minerva system, in a staged approach to ensure there is no disruption to the building’s fire protection system.

The existing system has been in place for 20 years. ADT will recycle the old system by reconditioning it for use as spares to support other Minerva systems.
