The new prospectus outlines 10 development sites across 35 plots, targeting long-term investment near HS2 Curzon Street

Birmingham city council has published a new investment prospectus for Digbeth, setting out proposals for 6,652 homes and 310,527 sqm of commercial space across 10 sites. The document was launched at last week’s UKREiiF as part of the council’s wider Our Future City: Central Birmingham Framework 2045.

“Digbeth is a diverse, creative, enterprising community, home to freelancers, makers, agencies, startups and cultural venues,” said Councillor Sharon Thompson, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Economy and Skills. “The Digbeth Prospectus represents the latest delivery phase of Our Future City… and will help bring forward over 6,000 new homes and over 300,000 sqm of new workspace.”
