BRE Scotland is to conduct post occupancy evaluations of nine college projects for the Scottish Funding Council (SFC).

BRE will conduct a review of the operational, functional and strategic performance of the college buildings during occupation, which will inform the SFC’s future projects.

The SFC is a non-departmental public body of the Scottish government that distributes funding for teach, learning, and research in Scotland’s colleges and university. 43 colleges and 20 higher education institutions in Scotland are funded by the SFC.

The driver behind BRE’s post occupancy evaluations is the SFC’s need to demonstrate ‘value for money’ on their project spend.
