Miller Construction has appointed Mike Andrews business development manager for the North-west region. Peter Corbett has been appointed regional director for the Yorkshire and North-east region.

David Wilson and Julian Price have joined Ashford Construction Projects as bid manager and operations manager respectively, based in Coleshill.

Construction firm Gleeson has appointed Bob Lavell to its southern construction division as regional commercial manager.

Richard Shaylor has been promoted to board director of Shaylor Construction.

Greg Locke, formerly of Redrow Homes, has been appointed chairman of David Wilson Homes' Eastern division.

Cornhill Interiors, the specialist fit-out arm of contractor YJL, has made the following appointments. Ray Greenfield, previously with Portfolio Design International, joins as project manager, Bernard Ryan joins as commercial director, Steve Gentry has been appointed marketing manager and Tim Bradly has been appointed operations director.

Property asset consultant Bruton Knowles has appointed Jamie Phillips agency surveyor in the Birmingham office. He will be responsible for office sector.

Property consultant Haley Somerset Consulting has appointed James Carrington senior M&E quantity surveyor, Nick Davy senior projects consultant and Stephen Cole senior controls engineer in the Leeds office.

Nigel Westmoreland has joined the Leeds office of building services consulting engineer Silcock Dawson & Partners as senior electrical engineer.
