Re your ‘Ready for assembly’ feature on KLH cross laminated timber (CM, March)

Sadly, my experience of using precision engineered panels was somewhat different... with the exception of the final comment about being ‘flexible with the chainsaw’. It was this tool that was used most extensively – not always the best choice when looking for a joinery finish!

PS Your timeline in the ‘Who do you think you are?’ article mentions Ascot being in Surrey. I think you’ll find it’s always been in Berkshire!
