Metropolitan Workshop Architects was erroneously credited in your 12 June issue as the concept architect for the Tripoli Museum of Heritage

In fact, Metropolitan Workshop won an invited design competition in October 2008. The building concept developed by the practice is inspired by the tented desert structures used by the Bedouin and the Libyan dune landscape. The large, perforated canopy is designed to shade conditioned pavilions beneath it.

Metropolitan Workshop has been appointed to collaborate with Camillin Denny Architects as lead consultants for the delivery of RIBA Stage D proposals.
