Grassroots research needs to be done to work out how to stop this practice
Until the government and the RICS get together to put an end to below-net-cost tendering we are wasting our time and money investing in construction (“Cable: construction is the ‘weak link’ in the economy”, 26 July, Building).
Grassroots research needs to be done to work out how to stop this practice before the sector falls apart completely. Would-be construction “gurus” imply that it is a matter of choice, but it is slowly destroying the country’s most significant industry.
