What’s in your digital holster?

My Nokia N85 8 megapixel camera phone. As well as being an engineer, I work as a photographer, and last week I got a cover shot on the Independent. I also just won a competition in the Metro on the theme “Alive at night”. My job gives me access to all sorts of sites and buildings at night – I took six out of the 31 pictures in the final exhibition. For proper photos I use a Canon 20D.

Bill Bryson’s Notes from a Small Island, from audible.co.uk.

Favourite tune?

The last music I downloaded was Marillion’s classic Script for a Jester's Tear. I was rediscovering my youth. It’s an absolute classic – the last one before they went commercial.
