What is your favourite meeting place?

Facebook to keep in touch with people. Twitter I use more for work. As for pubs, I’m Irish and stereotypical – you still cannot beat the cut and thrust of ridiculous discussions after a few pints.

Where shall we play?

I have the hand-eye co-ordination of a three-week-old, so games aren’t my thing. I prefer being hammered by my wife at Scrabble.

What’s in your digital holster?

I’m the last person without a mobile phone – I’m always at the computer, so when I’m off, I like to be off grid.

What is your TV choice?

For my four-year-old, Sophie, the episode of Wallace and Gromit shown at Christmas on the BBC. That reminds me, it’s still sitting on the hard drive.

What are your most played songs on iTunes?

Rolling Stones – loud. Alternatively Yann Tiersen, Arcade Fire, Pink Martini, and Michael Nyman get frequent plays.
