www.impactlab.com

Sometimes you stumble across some sites by accident: this site by the DaVinci Institute is described as a "science blog" but that doesn't justly describe the host of fascinating scientific future-gazing stuff that it contains. Great for cutting-edge technology ideas.

www.audacity.org

Everyone's a publisher with the web, and this is the sort of argumentative website I'd have liked to have published myself - outspoken, slightly subversive but full of creative ideas.

www.greenspec.co.uk

This is one of the best product-selection websites for green materials. It's free to use and uncluttered by advertising banners, which makes it even greener, to my mind.

www.ryanair.com

I shop online mainly for flights and I like Ryanair for its range of interesting destinations such as Brno, Rodez and Pescara. I have a - probably vain - ambition to visit all of them during the off-season for under £500 (excluding taxes of course). It won't be long before this is no longer socially acceptable and our travel plans will have to be more down to earth!
