You refer, in the issue of 9 January (page 38), to the Gateshead Music Centre as a building due for completion in 2004, and claim that "the city of Newcastle will be gaining a Lord Foster landmark". However Gateshead is on one bank of the Tyne and Newcastle is on the other. The city of Newcastle might bask in the light of the new centre but it will not be gaining the building; that distinction falls to the ratepayers of Gateshead.
