What is your favourite website?

For wildlife and nature photos www.ophrysphotography.co.uk – I’m particularly interested in native British orchids because of my background as a civil engineer working on road schemes where verges are essentially long, thin strips of unimproved pasture. For surreal silliness, you can’t beat www.ophrysphotography.co.uk

What’s your TV choice?

Once a week I watch University Challenge.

What’s on your iPod?

It could be anything. I’m currently enjoying Peruvian singer Yma Sumac. I’ve got TV programmes on there too – I like The Catherine Tate Show and The Inbetweeners, which I heard of through my daughters.

Recent online purchases?

Tickets for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. I have purist tendencies and I didn’t like the way it mixed Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.
