I regularly drive past Grosvenor Waterside, the “best private housing development” in this year’s brick awards. Are you joking? Smart contemporary lines? It looks identical to the “best commercial building” shown next to it.

The development was seemingly thrown together without thought to the sensitivity of its Thameside location or adjacent buildings. And this within a stone’s throw of Wren’s Chelsea Hospital. Never was a building more certain to make your “blunders” list.
