Tony Bingham's column is usually very interesting and relevant but I do not think he should use it to express his opinions on the justification for the Iraq war (25 July, page 68).
A little while ago we were treated to his comparison of Tony Blair's decision about going to war and an adjudication methodology for reaching a fair and reasonable judgment (28 February, page 50). We did not need it again.

Please Mr Bingham, stick to commenting on building law – if I want political commentary, I'll buy a newspaper.
