I was interested to read Edward Whipp’s views on masonry and brickwork (6 July, page 78).

Although he may believe masonry and brickwork are labour intensive and slow compared with off-site panellised systems, I’ve never known a masonry or brickwork supplier be 18 weeks late on a 16 week contract nor to be involved in five adjudications on the same project.

It is not without reason that many within the industry refer to EAG not as English Architectural Glazing but as Erroneous Arguments Guaranteed.

Giving space to companies like EAG within your magazine does nothing whatsoever to promote all that is good in the industry.
