Further to the item in Hansom on 11 May (page 29), I would like to voice my disgust at the item concerning Andrew McAlpine and his use of iTunes.

I have worked for Sir Robert McAlpine for 18 years. Company employees sign agreements concerning the use of computers. You aren’t allowed on certain sites, for example eBay, but as we tend to be busy it isn’t a problem. As “minions”, we can’t surf the net as we’re expected to work hard and bring in the pennies, but it seems the high and mighty can. A bit unfair, don’t you agree?

The rest of us surf and download from the net in the comfort of our own home and not during hours that we are paid to work.
